Lunch-o-matic - 0 views

Great as a follow up activity once the kids know the related nutrition vocab and basic nutrition facts. Then kids can create their own balanced lunches and talk about them or share otherwise
  •
This game is a good source for teaching food and catering vocabulary. Learners have a chance to listen to the pronunciation of words and see them at the same time. Besides, the game gives some useful information about healthy food. I piloted it on my friend's mother who has an elementary level of English. She liked it very much and said that it was really useful.

This game is intended for intermidiate level of EFL students who may practice Present Perfect Tense, play it, forming sentences with the words of each colomn that offers them, pay attention to the correctness of the formed sentence, because if wrong words are picked from the colomns, they won't go ahead and will be stuck. It helps to revise the students' grammar competence and stay in a good shape:) Strongly recommended for higher level of learners!

GAMES - past tense - 8 views

  •
The game gives an intermediate ESL learner an opportunity to revise his/her knowledge about past tense. This game provides some 'context' where the student can practice his/her knowledge. There is also a level of difficulty in this game i.e. a player can choose from the provided three pts and find the level corresponding to his/her level of language competency. I piloted it with one of my students and he chose the easiest pt and succeeded. After he tried the medium pt and lost 4 points for incorrect choice of form. He tried to do the most difficult one but he did not understand some words in context and couldn't gain needed scores. I would advise EFL teachers to use this game because it enhanced, engaged and motivated my student in language learning.
