This activity is very useful for learning new words by looking at images and practicing pronunciation. One can read the word, listen to it and then repeat as many times as he/she wants. The words refer to different spheres.

This webpage gives some interesting activities for practicing Present Perfect. Some of them I have used some are new. Give it a try. These activities can be done by students in pairs. Students may ask follow up questions such as when, who, with, which will lead them from Present Perfect to Past Simple.

I have tried this game with an intermediate and upper intermediate level students and it worked quite well. The only difficulty may the result of culture differences. There may be some set phrases which do not exist in the S's native language, and unfamiliarity with this set phrase may cause come difficulties. However it is very useful and effective.

This activity will give opportunity to English learners to practise similes by the help of pictures and associations with them.

Listen and drag things that belong in a zoo. 

This activity is ideal when learning new words referring to a specific topic. I assume that children learn words better when they see them visually. It helps them remember them. Whenever I give such an activity to my students they respond to it enthusiastically: they revise their vocabulary, associate the words with the topic, learn new words. For beginners this activity will be ideal.
