This booklet is intended to provide to all, both near and far, who are concerned with the creation, circulation and transfer of knowledge replies to certain questions they may have on the subject of copyright. It has no other objective than to clarify a complicated subject by translating legal language into language that can be easily understood by everyone.

Post arguing that teachers should keep a professional distance from their students. I think I profoundly disagree with this post, not around the act of staying distant but about the power differential built into his argument. Acting ethically and modelling good and realistic practice in life is more fundamental to a useful educational stance. This post refers I think to non-adults and emotional transference is something that teachers need to be conscious of. I'm not arguing that teachers should friend all their pupils online, rather that his reasons for this are flawed.

Site to Phone is a free service designed to send links and text from your computer to your phone or tablet. Once you have a Site to Phone account you can download a selection of extensions and browser addons that let you send information to your phone. Once your phone is setup you can recieve the information by opening a homescreen app or bookmark. If you regularly type out links from your computers web browser onto your phone Site to Phone could save you a lot of time.

Using established technologies and standards the maps provide 'mash-ups' of information from curriculum databases, ePortfolios and other sources. The project aims to enhance understanding and navigation of the curriculum and provide a means for students to actively map, contextualise, reflect on, and evidence their learning. The maps will also support collaboration, including sharing, rating and discussion of learning resources linked to specific topics in the maps."
