a broader view volunteers on 29 Aug 09In Kathmandu our volunteers support two local children's centers. These programs operate as day care/educational centers for poor children of the community. The centers offer free services for extremely poor families that work in the local factory. Volunteers can practice English with the older children, arrrange games, read stories. Prior experience not necessary, volunteers should have a lot of patience, an open mind and a sense of compassion.
