AUSTRALIA and Indonesia both sent strong delegations packed with ministers and senior officials to Darwin for talks this week but the clearest message to emerge was Canberra and Jakarta's vastly different view of people-smuggling.

However, it is good policy for the asylum seekers who claimed for minors, the government will send them back to original country especially young adult and children.

In the form of asylum seekers, there are human trafficking,which hard to know. many became the victims of human trafficking, they have to pay at least $ 5,000-10,000 or so per a person. those people even do not know their fate and what gonna happen. Many lost lives before reaching destination due to too crowded boats and sinking boats and others.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard has announced the government will target ports of origin as it aims to stop people smuggling and stem the flow of asylum seekers to Australia. This is tragic incident. the hope to see any more survivors is fading due to critical condition of the sea in which the tragedy happened. I feel empathetic for the incident victims especially women and children. It is a sad story and missing people are presume to have died. However, I believe that many missing people are still alive anyway.

People swapping with Malaysia is not an effective or humane way to stop people smuggling. Trading in people is a shameful plan that serves only to further diminish Australia's increasingly shaky commitment to its human rights obligations. Na & Ninoy will present this the article in Aus Studied
