This site invites kids to learn about inventors and intellectual property -- patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Kids can take a patent trivia quiz, read fun facts, and learn how to apply for a patent for their own inventions.

So this is interesting. A quiz from PennState for faculty wanting to get into online teaching. Could be used when talking with teachers about the pros and cons of online teaching.

This source provides information on avoiding plagiarism. Provides definition of plagiarism, example, interactive of basic tips and a quiz. There is also information on creative commons and public domain. I could see using the examples provided for small group discussions. I see myself using a lot of the information on copyright as it is easy to read and lays out the format that will be easy for the students to understand. These examples are under a big umbrella of information called "Using Information Correctly." There are 3 big ideas under this which include Avoiding Plagiarism, Putting Info Together and Copyright and Fair Use.

I am going to be sharing this with the Agriculture teacher at my school. I have worked with her in the past and I know that she will appreciate this newly found resource to use in her Animal Science class

This is a really fun quiz site where you can make your own quizzes and they are presented in trivia-game format. The faster students answer, the more points they get. They also use memes to make them funny and interesting for the students.

Short and simple, would be good for a "see what you know" before diving into teaching about copyright law.
