Watch Common Sense Media's Introduction to the SAMR Model video to help you make informed decisions. Dr. Ruben Puentedura developed the SAMR model as a way for teachers to evaluate how they are incorporating technology into their instructional practice. You can use SAMR to reflect upon how you are integrating technology into your classroom.

After seeing Adam Saenz at the QE Annual Convention last week in Madison, and hearing his inspirational story our district's leadership team decided that this is someone our staff should hear. He is extremely charismatic and understands the importance of being a positive role model to your students. This is the kind of person we should all aspire to become.

DIY Education - City X teaches basic 3D modeling, printing & design thinking skills to highlight the importance of creativity in problem solving. Global Connections - City X fosters cultural exchange & awareness by introducing possibilities for global collaboration. Imagination - Given the opportunity to create without limits, what kind of world would kids create? I love this idea to give a purpose to 3D design and printing! I would use it in conjunction with the Design Squad resource below.
