TED videos would be a great video source to share with the 2nd grade teachers who teach insects. It has current videos, with fascinating facts and real pictures. The days of the Magic School Bus on VHS need to be transformed to show teachers new sources of videos to show to students, so students can be aware of the current issues with the insect world and learn new facts about insects that they may have never known!

I found this playlist on the autism spectrum and think it would be great for a professional development session in conjunction with a course from someone at pupil services. I see this as very helpful for teachers who want to know more about autism and connect with their students who fall on the spectrum.
