This site offers lots of documents and information about the Salem Witch Trials. I use this site in my American Literature class when we are reading "The Crucible".

This site contains actual documents from the trials in Salem Village in 1692.  I searched for this site because I once taught The Crucible and think that students would enjoy seeing the court documents that they read about in the story.

This site provides primary documents with their transcriptions surrounding the Salem Witch Trials. Included are images of court records, books, and personal letters. The images can be made larger, and while students would not be able to read most of the document, the image brings life to the source. Having the transcription so that students can read what was actually said is powerful. Middle school and high school students would find the information fascinating. It would partner well with social studies and literature.

Over 133 links to sites with primary documents covering a variety of topics including American journeys and exploration (Lewis and Clark), Tracking Buffalo, Salem Witchcraft Trials and even some modern topics like Bob Hope and American Variety, and Immigration Today. About a dozen of these 133 links were directed towards teacher and lesson plans, so I liked that this site had so many others wrapped into one. This site also had primary documents for all subject areas: Art, Music, Math, S.S., Science, Writing, Reading, and even Physical Education. There's something for everyone here!
