UD EDU 352 Technology in Education

Since geometry can be a troubling course, it useful for teachers to intertwine lighthearted fun into the instruction. I chose this site because it provides an array of games. Furthermore, teachers can use this site's multitude of games as assessment tools.

This site presents an in-depth timelines of President Abraham Lincoln. I chose this site because it would be useful for a history class wrapped around 19th century. History teachers can use this as a helpful tool when discussing the Civil War (i.e., it includes links to Civil War information).

Since stylistic devices can be hard to remember, it would benefit any English teacher to know examples of each. I chose this site because everything is organized, and it includes a multitude of examples. If literature is being discussed, this site can serve as a good reference for understanding certain literary styles.

This site is cool because it gives you applications to use for the interactive white board! Kids love being able to participate in class and using the smart board is a great way to do it. I would use this for Language Arts related lessons.

This site is helpful for kids because it can provide them with answers to health related issues. This site would be helpful when doing a nutrition unit.

I loved worksheets for math that let me color too. This site offers just that. These would be good to use as homework assignments.

This site would be helpful when looking for a new worksheet to use in class plus it's free. If I am looking for a worksheet in the future and this site has the subject I am looking for I would use this site.

This site provides articles, resources and videos to help teachers learn about new tools to use in the classroom. I would probably use this site by picking out a new resource here and there and t esting it out in the classroom

This site not only provides lesson plans but also other things like classroom maps that may be useful. I like that this site is free and the submissions are by other teachers. This site would be helpful when looking for more options for lesson plans and other classroom related stuff.

I think the title of this site is fun and easy for children to remember. This site is another resource that could be used during free time/end of the day that is fun yet educational

This site has information on many different science topics. Anything from fungus to the weather. Since this site has such a wide variety of subjects, this site would be used for many different lessons in a classroom. 

I love that this site gives a list of different science experiments that are sure to grab students' attention. This site could be used in class if an experiment fits into the lesson plan or maybe even as a special activity they can do for good behavior/no late assignments/whatever.

This website has great articles all about new ideas in the education field. 

This website has some really useful links to other websites. It concentrates on tech in the classroom and so would be a good place to look for new ideas

This is a good site for connecting with other teachers who use technology in their classrooms. 

I liked this website because the layout was clear and uncluttered. I could see exactly where I needed to go straight away. If I needed graphics or organizers for my classroom I would go here.

This is a great resource for finding lesson plans and it's easy to navigate. I would use this website to help me find ideas quickly, by subject or grade level.

After seeing Professor Weber use this website effectively I will be also using this website to the benefit of students. I plan to be teacher secondary physical education, so the use of internet websites to collect and arrange assignments will be key.

This website is a good resource for teachers to connect with other teachers to discuss popular topics in the world of teaching. I would read this just to get different angles on current education topics.

I like that this site can be used for all different grade levels. I also like that if need you can "ask an expert." If I were to use this in a class room I think it would be helpful for researching states due to its "State Facts" section. I also think it would be fun to look at the section "This Day in History" daily to learn something new each day!
