All kids love the chance to get on the computer but it is important that we give them games to play that they will also learn from. This website has over 100 games for each grade level that kids will love and not think of it as doing math. there is a wide variety of choices and is a great place to send kids to.

This website is very helpful for social studies lessons. There are many mini lessons to choose from for every grade and lessons on geography, the government and american history. I enjot hand on activities in lessons and a few of the lessons suggestions include making a play doh map of your state or making maps. There are also instructional lessons like how to read a map or lessons on current events. This would be very helpful for an older grade level and to get more in depth on what is going on today.

This website is perfect for activities to use during or after a lesson. It includes puzzles and games such as a election vocabulary bingo which would have been perfect for students to go over now since the elections just happened. There are also crosswords on the original colonies or a Native american game. These would all help make a heavy lesson on learning about all the presidents or learning the state capitals alittle more fun.

Lesson/unit plans are very demanding for teachers, and it's absolutely necessary to have several resources for building an effective plan. This site includes several writing activities. In addition, teachers can use these ideas to get students interested in writing (the different forms of writing are also included).

This site includes several links to helpful blogs on history. I chose this site because it listed some helpful blogs that may help guide teachers in lesson plan development. Teachers can use this site to find excellent videos, articles, discussion guides, activities, etc.

English embodies a lot of content, so it's essential to get topics organized for instruction. With this site, there are numerous ideas for teaching literature. As a teacher, this site can serve as an idea-tree that includes activities and guidelines to teaching a specific genre.

This site includes several sources in the form of articles. I chose this site because it's organized style is inviting to all levels of P.E. teaching. Teachers can use the articles, which go in-depth with activities or ideas for teaching, to better structure their instruction.

Instead of just games, this site shows many other resources. I like how this site offers insights to using resources. Teachers can use this to form their own lesson plan along with what sources they should use.

This site not only includes written-up advice, but it includes video examples. I chose this site because it gave thorough explanations over interactive games/assessments. P.E. teachers can use this as a honey-hole for ideas to implement in the classroom--wherever it may be.

Science needs to intertwine activities into the learning process. This site popped at me because it included so many project ideas for a wide array of sciences (chemistry, physics, astronomy, engineering, computer science, etc.). Teachers can use this site as a resource for building a well-rounded assessment tool bag.

This site includes several resources for an English teacher. I really liked the idea of including so many sources--from lesson plans to an interactive exchanging of ideas. Teachers can use this in so many ways to build a good repertoire.

Since teachers are always in need of lesson plans, a website including multiple subjects with multiple lesson plan ideas would be ideal. I chose this site because it provides such a wide variety of things--from all subjects and K-12. Teachers can use this site for developing ideas in a lesson.

This site provides an accessible tool for interactive projects. I chose this tool because its accessibility and its uses, which includes sharing files, folders, and Google Docs. Teachers can use this with fellow teachers to collaborate ideas, or if there's a group project, this would serve as a good interactive tool amongst students, too.

Before a teacher goes into the first day of school, it's beneficial to have a layout plan. I chose this site because it implements a classroom floor plan. This allows you to be the architect of your classroom, i.e., objects can be dragged across the grid.

Although P.E. appears simple, the subject is very important for kids and their development. I chose this site because it breaks down several key ideas, and it covers all angles. Teachers can use this as an excellent reference for implementing games into the lesson, i.e., it includes a list games, roles for instructors, tips, and purpose.

Although the period table is overwhelming, it's manageable to learn if broken down. I chose this site because it made a game out of knowing the elements. As a teacher, this site can be used as an introduction and fun evaluator-game for students (it includes significant distinctions for each, too).
