I chose this tool because I first heard about it at Eisenhower and how beneficial it is when you are a teacher. You are able to store lesson plans in this website and share them with fellow teachers. It helps keep you organized and makes it easy to pick the curriculum that you use. I would use this to help store my lessons in and to look back and change if need be.

I like this resource because it offers a creative way to check for understanding and reading comprehension in students. It is free and allows the teacher to create their own questions, quizzes, and more. When working on a geography unit, this site would be very helpful. Students can practice their state recognition easily as well as learn about the states. This site could also be utilized for current event research. If a social studies teacher wanted to give a list of current event resources, this would be a great resource.
  •
This website is absolutely full of things for kids to do. This website doesn't have just games, they also have places where you can learn things about the different flags or about the different states in America or many other things. There is a section that has current events that are going on in the world. I think this is a great website for students to spend time on.
  •
This allows students to play different games, look at current events and get to low Social Studies a little better. Good website for students K-5
  •
I chose this website, because social students has always been a tough topic for me, so this is a good way to learn new information as well as fun facts. This website would be good to use for indivial projects on different states, and also to learn about them, and where they are on the map too.
