I choose this site because its a great idea to start out your day for certain lessons to get the brain functioning. This site can be used in my future classroom by giving me my own ideas on how to start out the lesson with problem solving questions.

This website is ideal for teachers to share ideas and stay in touch with other teachers all over the world. Teachers can easily share stories of students and lesson plans that have worked for them in the past. Teachers sharing with each other is vital for the success of students. There is no need to "rewrite the book" on teaching when people have been doing it for years and years. These websites can also give teachers great insight on what is going on in schools all over the nation and possibly integrating students from other areas in lessons, such as pen pals or Skyping in the classroom.

This allows teacher to view other teachers teaching. Get feedback from others. It also allows a person to view multiple types of lessons in all subject areas.

I really like this website because of the amount of information available. The site provides links in plant groups and so it's easy to scroll down to the type of plant you need to know about. I like the lesson plans and the links to plant literature too. I could see myself using the lesson plans from this site.

This is a great resource for finding lesson plans and it's easy to navigate. I would use this website to help me find ideas quickly, by subject or grade level.

Lesson Plans: I really like this website. It allows you to create a free account to make units/lesson plans for your class. There are different templates to choose from as well as tips to help you create your unit/lesson. All documents are saved on your account so you do not have to worry about losing them or trying to keep a hard copy on file. I think this is a great website for new teachers to use.

Health: This is a great website for finding health lesson plans for grades preK- 5. These lessons range in all areas of health and use different strategies to teach the subjects. They have great game ideas listed and that would be a fun way to get students involved and interested in health.

Pinterest is a great site to help create lesson plans. It offers lessons plans for all grade levels and all subjects. I will utilize pinterest when I am stumped on creating a fun and engaging lesson plan.

This website is more for teachers because it gives you a bunch of different lessons for all of the types of science. I would use this to find lessons for my class.

America's history through America's art. This website is a great resource for lesson plans and ideas for activities! I would particularly use this for ideas about teaching the early times of the United States. It has great lesson plans and students resources- it breaks difficult topics down into easy to understand key events!

I feel as a teacher you can never have too many resources for ideas.

This website makes lesson planning so easy. It is a detailed schedule of what needs to be taught when and it can printed off or emailed to the principal so he can look it over. this is user-friendly, and I will certainly have to look into using this when I start teaching. Amber Koth

I chose this website, because it is always nice to be able to find lessons that are already done, so you can use them in your classroom to work on your lessons. I liked this website, because it gives you the lesson and and interactive activity too.

Science: I chose this resource because it offers a lot of different topics that might be studied throughout the course of the year along with activities and lessons that can be used with those topics. I could browse through the activities based on my lesson plans and incorporate some of these activities to engage my students.

Science: I found this to be a good resource because it sections off the different topics in science and has great videos for different topics and lessons. I could browse this website to find videos to show in my classroom to instill different lessons, standards, etc.

Lesson plans/teacher sharing - This is a very useful source for teachers to utilize, it is almost an online workshop for lesson planning for teachers

This site gives tips for teachers about how to effectively plan for their lesson and how to reflect on it after. My first few years of teaching will be a lot of trial and error so having these tips will be very helpful.
