I chose this site because it has many different sources for teachers to use. This site has book reviews, different types of graphic organizers, and different writing activities. For example, this sit has how to finger spell, I could use this site and find sheets to print off for the class to teach them how to finger spell. This site also has many different literacy workshops that I could use in my future classroom.

This site has many different lesson plans and makes it very easy for teachers to navigate around the website. This site also makes it so teachers, parents, and students can use this site very easily. I could use this site to create work sheets for my lesson plans. This site also makes it easier for teachers to find lesson plans by subject.

This site is also very easy to navigate around. This website also has categories that students could use and learn things from, such as math, alphabet, and memory games. I could use this site in my future classroom because students of any age could use it to work on many different subjects. I could have students work on their games during centers as well.

I like this site because it has different activities that students can do to help improve in math or language arts. This site is very easy to navigate so it would not be difficult for students to get around on. I would use this site during centers for the students that are on computers. Students could work on spelling, shapes, or math problems.

I like that this site can be used for all different grade levels. I also like that if need you can "ask an expert." If I were to use this in a class room I think it would be helpful for researching states due to its "State Facts" section. I also think it would be fun to look at the section "This Day in History" daily to learn something new each day!

I picked this blog because I liked the simple layout and the practical info from a working 6th grade language arts teacher. I like the fact that she has her own class and talks about how her kids engage in her projects. As a teacher, I would read this website to gather ideas.

I like this site because it gives you a variety of options. I'd probably just use it as something to put on my class website and let kids and parents access it as they need it. I could also point it out to students if they weren't aware that they could get help there.

Curriculum Differentiation for the Gifted - 0 views

I love this site becuase so often, when we think about differentiating lessons, we think about the kids who are behind, not the ones who are ahead. Here you can find ways to enhance your own lessons, or, make all new lessons for them to work on when they have time. It's a great way to keep the gifted kids busy, challenged, and happy (as well as some over bearing parents of gifted students...).

I see things on this site all the time that I want to make or create to put in my classroom. It has endless supplies of idea and things you can do yourself. Things from organizational tools to just fun decorations for the classroom... I know personally, I always like the classes that had fun stuff on the walls. Made it more fun to be there and more fun to learn. :)

Love this site! It has all kinds of neat ideas on how to organize your class, save money, recycle, and all that good stuff. It's great just to look at so in the future, before you throw out that old coffee can, you already have ideas and ways you can use it to better organize and perfect your classroom.

Decorah Eagles, Ustream.TV: Update: 01/20/12 Here is what we know. 1. We don't know whe... - 0 views

I chose this site because it's live action and really interesting for students. I've used this site for students in relation to science courses before. We were doing a habitat/wildlife unit in science, and we would watch the eagles (and at the time their eggs and then babies) and talk about their habitat and patterns in relation to what we were learning. It made our lessons relevant to them and another living thing which is SO important to do with students.

I chose this site because it has a wide variety of topics and different kinds of sites. I would use this more as a fun or laid back kind of activity (like if you need to use up a day inbetween units or right before a holiday break). The kids could find a game or site that interested them and just crusie around. Or, to make it a little more involved, they could find 15-20 facts that they find interesting that they never knew before.

This websire is a great way to get student involved and excited about science! it is motly for older students. there are links to to an "electronic zoo" which then has a bunch of links to lessons on alot of animals in the animla kingdom made by teahers and students to be interactive and interdisciplinary. There is also a website link that would be perfect for students who are truely interested in science and teaches them about how math is integrated in science. There are also links to games that kids can classify critteres and a dust explorations.

I chose this site becuase of the help and knowledge it can give to students who want to practice spelling, or are in a spelling bee. It'd be great to use because when you're in a spelling bee you know you have to study how to spell words... but what words?! This can give you lists and guidance as you practice.
