Great site with older games at discount prices. Similar to Steam and Humble Bundle. Great deals on a lot of old faves and games that you probably never got around to playing.
This week's Humble Bundle give you $370 worth of game design content for $12 with RPG Maker VX Ace, lots of DLC tiles sets, art and music, and a few games made with RPG Maker as well. It's a steal!
Someone has FINALLY made digital, multiplayer game manager for traditional pen-&-paper games. It's looks really well done. One feature in the video for it (in the link) is that the GM can type in a custom item like a weapon, including the name, damage, and bonuses, then click on the text, and have a digital d20 appear with the bonuses automatically added into the roll. Genius!
There's a free demo of it on Steam right now.
Yes; I've added it to my wishlist. Sadly, the kotaku review was a bit lukewarm on the story. Said the art was (obviously) gorgeous, and the gameplay was solid, but that the story dragged. I'll still end up playing it though.
It's definitely worth a play. One of my favorite games I've found on Steam. It's my favorite genre (TRPGs) and has a story that was solid. It's also really challenging.
