    The Simplification Rules: 1. What are other people doing? 2. Remove layers 3. Increase the quantity of power 4. Extend the shadow of the future 5. Increase reciprocity 6. Reward those who cooperate

    Maybe we can start by asking ourselves if we're committed to the impact these rules would have on our existing organizational design? Has our current design failed in ways that it may not have, given the alternate approach? I think we may have some aspects of the rules in place now, but the real value is likely realized with a commitment to the entire program, as part of the culture. Interesting how we words it..."the real battle is with ourselves", not with the competitors.
