Hitachi Cable announced has that the firm plans to increase the rolled copper production by 4% to monthly 6,060 tonnes in second half of fiscal 2010 ending March 2011 from same period of fiscal 2009.
The firm expects the copper tube production is same level as the H1 after air conditioner makers build the inventory. The firm anticipates the copper strip production could decrease from the H1 when the demand is uncertain for semiconductor and electronics parts.
