Peachtree unveils new branding,logo reflecting core business - 0 views

    PEACHTREE GROUP RECENTLY introduced new branding, logo and tagline, "Guided by Intuition, Grounded by Expertise." The branding update aims to project the company's integrated investment strategies and service platforms. This change consolidates the company's varied brand portfolio, renaming Stonehill as Peachtree Group Credit and Peachtree Hospitality Management as Peachtree Group Hospitality Management, the company said in a statement. "The new branding has given us a competitive edge in attracting top-tier talent, ensuring a consistent influx of the best minds and skills to navigate an ever-changing business landscape," said Greg Friedman, CEO and managing principal of Peachtree Group. "Moreover, our strategic branding approach, aimed at consolidating our diverse range of businesses, is poised to unleash even greater untapped potential within our investment platform. This platform, already proven in its value in the hospitality sector, has played a pivotal role in our expansion and diversification into other real estate sectors and ventures."

Wyndham launches upscale 'WaterWalk Extended Stay' brand - 0 views

    WYNDHAM HOTELS & RESORTS and WaterWalk recently launched a new upscale brand, "WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham." This deal will introduce up to 11 hotels with more than 1,500 rooms, initially in markets such as Tucson, Jacksonville, and Wichita. Pictured is the lobby of the WaterWalk by Wyndham - Phoenix. The new brand is Wyndham's 25th addition to its portfolio and will join the company's existing economy and mid-scale extended-stay brands, Wyndham said in a statement. "In the last year, guest demand for the extended stay segment reached record highs, which has been underscored by demand from owners and developers looking for new opportunities to partner with Wyndham," said Chip Ohlsson, Wyndham's chief development officer. "Our vision is to offer the industry's most robust portfolio of extended stay brands and the addition of WaterWalk marks an important step in that direction-helping ensure we have an offering in every segment, for every owner and for every guest." WaterWalk, founded by the late Jack DeBoer, currently runs 11 hotels in the U.S., the statement added. Newer hotels adopt the brand's Gen 2.0 prototype, focusing on efficient design and lower operating costs to increase profitability.

GHM entities acquire two Hilton-branded hotels in Peabody, MA - 0 views

    Giri Bar Harbor Kebo Inc. and Giri Peabody 57 LLC, doing business as Giri Hotel Management led by Ash Sangani, recently acquired Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites Boston Peabody hotels in Peabody, Massachusetts, respectively. The two properties offer a total of 205 rooms. The hotels are within a 10-mile radius of Salem and 13 miles south of Boston. The properties are near the headquarters of Analogic Corp., Neurological, Lahey Medical, North Shore Medical, and Boston Children's Hospital Peabody. "With the acquisition of these two hotels, we're thrilled to announce the expansion of our portfolio to include eight Hilton-branded hotels," said Sagar Malavia, GHM's partner. "Situated along Route 1, these locations offer prime positioning for an exceptional guest experience for short- and long-term guests. We're dedicated to fostering a welcoming, family atmosphere for our new hotel team members and look forward to fostering excellent relationships with the community for mutual economic success."

    HYATT HOTELS CORP. reported an almost 85 percent growth in its global pipeline since 2017, reaching a record of 129,000 rooms. STR's Forward STAR to add more than 100 new locations in North America - 0 views

    STR HAS UNVEILED the forward-looking component of its product "Forward STAR" in 104 new markets/submarkets across the U.S. and Canada. Forward STAR, which is presently live in 450 areas around the globe, allows hotel property and portfolio users to benchmark the next 365 days of occupancy on the books against the competition and market. "This launch represents our largest Forward STAR expansion to date and adds significant value to our overall benchmarking offering," said Amanda Hite, STR's president. "Adding to the historical data that drives so many operational decisions around the industry, this directly sourced forward data provides intel into where hotels can gain available business, adjust their approach to pricing, and implement actions around market events. When combining historical metrics, profitability data and these forward bookings insights, industry stakeholders are positioned to analyze performance from every angle." According to the statement, Forward STAR was launched in 17 of the country's 25 largest hotel markets, including Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston and Phoenix. More granular submarkets were added with the addition of central business districts in markets such as Austin, Chicago, Nashville and New Orleans as well as airport submarkets in areas such as Miami, San Francisco and Bradenton, Florida.
