We can finally reveal that our long awaited "brand new service" has been launched for the autumn/winter of 2009/10: LDS Tourism is now offering to build effective social media marketing campaigns for existing clients and other businesses.

LDS Tourism Services has had a web presence since 1995 and has fully embraced e-marketing and, more recently, social media networking techniques.

In February 2010, the Directors of LDS Tourism Services Ltd., a premier brochure marketing company, will celebrate 18 years of being in business.

Most people with an interest in social media will now be familiar with Foursquare - the location-based mobile platform that makes towns and cities more interesting to explore. We have long advocated this service as an essential part of any campaign...

Last year we kitted out a brand new Tourist Information Point (TIP) at Blakemere - a unique shopping hub set in and around a pictographic Edwardian stable block and cobbled courtyard in Sandiway, Cheshire.

We are looking forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary on 1st February 2012.

Today we launch a brand new Tourist Information Point at Dobbies Garden World Liverpool - a popular retail outlet on the A561.

'Silly Season' has officially begun. For the last few weeks everyone at LDS Tourism has been working flat-out accepting deliveries of leaflets, servicing holders, talking with clients and generally making preparations for Valentine's Day and the half-term break. Next up: Mothering Sunday and Easter!

December is always a busy month for the LDSTS management team, but it does at least presents endless opportunities for us to mix business with pleasure...

Where has January gone? Soon it will be 'silly season' (the frenzied run up to Easter) for LDS Tourism Services and we will be dashing from one TIP to another, distributing all the last minute brochures and leaflets.

New leaflets and brochures continue to arrive at the Border Distribution Centre every day, including many from brand new clients such as The Trentham Estate in Staffordshire - which is currently undergoing a £100 million regeneration project aimed at creating a unique visitor destination of national importance.

As Britain basks in glorious sunshine, there is every indication that camping and caravanning holidays are enjoying an enormous resurgence.

Although small firms employ over fifty-eight per cent of the private sector workforce and contribute more than 50% of the UK turnover, the expansion of large national and international companies into every corner of British industry is heavily responsible for the demise of local trade.

LDS Tourism Services are extremely excited about 2010 - not least because they are now working with several new partner companies in other parts of the UK.
