This is a nice web video hosting service similar to Youtube. It will allow up to 500 MB per week for videos.

A new public television show designed to teach children basic financial literacy. It covers personal finance topics, such as credit, saving, budgeting, investing, and charity. Free lesson plans are available online for each show. The program will air on public television stations around the United States.

Looks interesting and a possible way to teach personal finance literacy to all ages.

a fantastic collection of over 200 learning resource collections. Study Jams are videos, slide shows, and step by step explanations for science and math that will have your students discovering everything from invertebrates to the water cycle and the rule of divisibility. Each Jam includes a teaching video/step-by-step/slide show, key vocabulary, and a test yourself section where they can practice what they have just learned. Each Jam also suggests related jams where students can expand their learning and dig deeper on a subject.

TEDxNYED, an all-day conference focusing on empowering innovation in education, is being held in New York City on Saturday, March 5, 2011. It will be webcast live here at tedxnyed.com, allowing viewers around the world to join and engage in these ideas worth spreading."

I had a conversation with the bot and it is very intuitive. The dialog was about age, manners and politeness. It was very kool to be able to converse with this automated being and I believe that the very quick and smart responses will engage the kids. Have fun with this one. It is for communications skills.
