  •
This is soooo cool! Go in and check out the 12 minute tutorial video. You will not believe all that this tool can do and it's free. Not only can individuals create and share flash cards, but they can test themselves. You can also add sound to this tool. If you selecte the spelling option you can create spelling flash cards that use sound. There is a translation tool built into this for foreign language teachers or ESL teachers or for students learning a new language. You have got to check this out!

TimeGlider: How It Works - 1 views

  •
"TimeGlider is a data-driven interactive timeline application built on the (Adobe) Flash platform. You can "grab" the timeline and drag it left and right, and zoom in and out to view centuries at a time or just hours. TimeGlider allows you to create event-spans so that you can see durations and how they overlap. Being web-based, TimeGlider lets you collaborate and share easily. You can create timelines about the last year of your family, the last century of world events, or about pre-historical (bce/bc) times. Currently, one can zoom out to a scope of millenia:"

TechLearning: Top 100 Sites of 2011 - 3 views

  •
"The time is finally here for my annual list of favorite sites of the year. This year I decided to up my post to the top 100 instead of 25 because of the number of sites that I reviewed and the popularity of the post. I tried to cover a wide range of sites, from flash-card creators to digital storytelling, and of course social networks, which really stood out in 2011. I hope everybody enjoys the list and has as much fun reading it as I did creating it."

    * Need Flash! MU.S.EU.M's aim is to offer some reflections on internet related to the heritage of the European ancient civilizations by creating the "Virtual museum of the European roots" which we envisage as a e-service and take as a pilot project for the prehistoric collections held n trust by the partner museums. This web site documents how Europe is founded upon a common ancient matrix, which is consequential to the rigid boundaries, to continuous migrations and interactions and to a plurality of cultural roots and imprints.
