When I introduce the "Wonderful Woman" I like to use pictures of the students in my class to represent the children and pictures of the teachers in the class to represent the wonderful woman. One classroom I visited used a large shoe that hung on the wall.

This is a unique site for a nontraditional home construction. Great for research on different building techniques in different countries for an architecture class.

We know that kids can remember songs and actions to songs that we haven't done for months, or even weeks! Why not use this to help them learn letters and sounds!? Our first step of action was to associate a letter/beginning sound with a picture.

Here are folktales, fairy tales, tall tales, myths, legends, magical tales, and sacred stories, plus original fables, humor, fantasy, and historical fiction-all from award-winning author Aaron Shepard. Most of the stories have been published in top children's magazines like Cricket and Australia's School Magazine, while some are from Aaron's picture books and early readers.

I will use this for my students when we are working on power points. It seems like there is always some picture we can't find. There are some very good sites linked on this page.
