This site has a lot of useful tips, lesson plans, and worksheets to teach students in elementary and middle school. The material and information covers content areas including reading, writing, math, science, and social students. It also includes lesson plans and activities for history.
Students at one Florida middle schools read and discuss young adult novels as part of the school's annual "Extreme Read." The experience gives students a chance to see those around them -- peers, parents, and even the math teacher -- as fellow readers.

Great book I just finished reading in a group read for paraprofessionals in the kindergarten age group level. But this book was really more appropriate for 4th, 5th and 6th grade levels or older. Just an inspiring book to read and more!
