In October, the Drupal (news, site) project launched a brand new Drupal.org, which now offers features such as customizable dashboards, a step by step Get Started section, integration of the Groups and Meetups sections with the rest of the site, documentation search and more. Project Founder Dries Buytaert states that this redesign is important because, "The result is not just a better Drupal.org site, but a better way of working together and a stronger, more dedicated team. It's an excellent foundation on which to build."

Here are some of the big takeaways: The three biggest usage spikes tend to occur on weekdays at 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET. The biggest spike occurs at 3:00 p.m. ET on weekdays. Weekday usage is pretty steady, however Wednesday at 3:00 pm ET is consistently the busiest period. Fans are less active on Sunday compared to all other days of the week.
