Steve Rennie, longtime manager of Incubus and a driving force behind the band’s multi-platinum commercial success, has launched Renmanmb.com, an online gathering place for musicians and music professionals trying to ‘break in’ to the business. Full of exclusive content and video, the site is home to Rennie’s weekly web show Renman MB Live where aspiring artists gain “insider access” to the music industry. Each week, Rennie opens his office doors to aspiring artists from different musical genres, giving them his no-holds-barred feedback on what they are doing right – and wrong – on their journey to success. Guests on Rennie’s live webcast get the opportunity to tap into his 30+ years of music industry contacts from producers, to marketing executives, to signed bands who are calling in and dropping by the show. The number one top charting song, "Blurred Lines," is back in the news again, all for the wrong reasons though. The hit song by Robin Thicke, T.I., and Pharrell, has been criticized since the video first came out. All three artist have took hits for the deemed "Sexist" music video. Now, critics are calling out the director of the music video, Diana Martel. Even with all the negative exposure, "Blurred Lines," holds the number one spot on the Billboard Top 100. The music video is questionable, but all the exposure has made the song a huge hit.
