Facebook is not an option at our school. I don't see it ever being an option. Edmodo though is used in a local district and I just saw a presentation on it on last year. Looks very interesting.

There are not solutions or answers for parents who don't want their children on Facebook. I've never looked at it from this angle. It's like cigarettes, drinking, or drugs...once their out of your sight you can't stop them from doing it. Really tough!
