     In an effort to help at-risk youth and the growing homeless pet population, K9 Connection has created an obedience training program that matches teens with abandoned dogs. The program allows at-risk youth the opportunity to work in a positive environment and be recognized for their efforts, while, in turn, helping shelter dogs become more sociable. The funds granted by the Millan Foundation will help with the continued support of this program.
