Language games - 0 views

  •
European site has games to learn a number of languages including French, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese, German and English. There are a few free Bingo games (health and home objects). There are sheets that provide expressions (at least for French) that you'll use when playing board games or card games. Those could come in handy for building cultural vocab. that we don't often encounter in our academic language classes.

French Vocabulary Guide - LanguageGuide.org - 8 views

  •
This site is a visual dictionary (arranged by themes: fruits, clothing, pets, plants, housing, school, etc) - when you scroll over each image, a French voice says the word. A wonderful resource for teachers who are not fully proficient and an opportunity to provide a different French language model for students. Ideal for elementary grades.
