Gender-based discrimination in education is both a cause and a consequence of deep-rooted disparities in society. Poverty, geographical isolation, ethnic background, disability, traditional attitudes about their status and role all undermine the ability of women and girls to exercise their rights.
I chose her blog because it stood out to me the most out of all of them. It was colorful and very inviting and was organized in a way that was easy to navigate. I found everything I needed to and was inspired by everything she did to her blog.
Everyone graduates from high school knowing how to read, write and do basic math (hopefully). But to be a self-sufficient adult, those skills are not enough. In fact, they’re nowhere close to enough....
