As a student, one of the best lessons I have learned is time management, and Studious is the app targeted at helping students master this life skill! This app is an intuitive and innovative answer to the 'basic' homework planner: Studious helps students organize their homework and exams on a normal calendar, but will also remind students of when assignments and projects are due in addition to when an exam date is approaching - all while setting up the best times in the student's schedule to start studying!

Short Description:
Evernote is an IOS/Android compatible app that promotes collaboration as well as productivity. It allows for its users to take notes in various unique formats, ranging from text, sketching, photos, journaling, graphs, audio, video and my personal favorite: sticky notes that you can actually write on!
These notes automatically can sync to every device the user is logged into, and can be shared for real time collaboration within a classroom - perfect for group projects and note sharing. And if a student forgot to write something down, they can take a picture of the board and have the photo scanned into their notes on the app.
Examples for Uses:
Project collaboration
Teacher note sharing amongst all student devices
Real time in class collaboration on documents and slides
Readings can be instantly shared and annotated via App
Students can pick note taking format that best suits their learning needs
