A great how-to guide for teachers to help get started with digital storytelling in the classroom. This resource has step-by-step directions about how to create, share, and use a variety of online applications for digital storytelling.
It is a sticky note organizational tool that allows for ongoing collaboration and discussion pertaining to the topic being analyzed (referred to as the "Storm"). SS can upload photos, link videos, edit and comment on others posts (sticky notes) with discussion threads, administrator is able to moderate the "storm", each "stormer" is able to vote a certain amount of times for their favorite entries and ideas. This is easily traceable by the administrator, therefore, could be made into a graphing lesson to further elaborate on the topic. All information and conversations are exportable to Excel or a PDF file for viewing by the administrator. Printable progress reports are also available.
An online poster/web page creation tool. Students of all ages and learning styles can use this website to create an interactive poster or web page containing text, audio, video, images (uploaded or links from the web), graphics, drawings, and data.
