VoiceThread is a cloud application that allows users to create, comment, and share video slideshows. Users can upload their own photos and drawings, add text and audio. Very user-friendly interface.
It is a sticky note organizational tool that allows for ongoing collaboration and discussion pertaining to the topic being analyzed (referred to as the "Storm"). SS can upload photos, link videos, edit and comment on others posts (sticky notes) with discussion threads, administrator is able to moderate the "storm", each "stormer" is able to vote a certain amount of times for their favorite entries and ideas. This is easily traceable by the administrator, therefore, could be made into a graphing lesson to further elaborate on the topic. All information and conversations are exportable to Excel or a PDF file for viewing by the administrator. Printable progress reports are also available.
