Thematic is a new service designed for building and sharing visual stories. Thematic allows you to display up to twenty pictures organized around a theme of your choosing. You can add one line of text to each image in your story. Your completed story is displayed in a vertically scrolling format with each of your images occupying all of the available space in your browser.

By developing this wiki with reading lists, information on texts, study guides, rubrics, book trailers, book reviews, directions and general requirements, students in years 9-12 (and their parents) have a head start on the year's required reading for English classes. Well done to Joyce Valenza for supporting her students in this manner.

I hope this Blog assists teachers in recommending books with characters with whom our students can relate. I also hope this Blog assists in recommending books with multiple realities of the D/deaf human experience. GCF Free Learn provides online lessons and tutorials for mathematics, reading, and technology topics. The lessons on GCF Free Learn are a mix of text explanations, interactive displays and activities, and video demonstrations.
