Children who misbehave at school are often punished by having to stay inside at recess. But new research shows that giving children recess actually helps solve behavioral problems in class.

  I have found it ironic that we punish our kids with something that most assuredly hurts them (i.e., Our Americana kiddos NEED exercise perhaps more than any other nation in the world and yet we would take this ONE opportunity that encourages them to run around SAFELY OUTSIDE away from them).

  I do NOT have a long attention span myself. How am I to expect a whole day's worth of attention from kiddos then?
