Although there are numerous and some very strong proponents against this idea, I think raising national minimum wage would definitely be beneficial, especially for the economy. As stated within your article, with the increased wage workers tend to contribute further to the economy through purchasing their companies products, as well as products elsewhere. The issues presented within the article are whether or not teenagers who work for minimum wage would contribute to the economy through increased pay, and what businesses would do if they had to increase wages. My response to this can be presented through an example, which should also answer your question about Bay Area/ California having a higher average minimum wage. I worked at Smashburger, who paid me $10 to work "Back of House" (cleaning, prepping condiments, toppings meats, and orders, and serving-up orders), who obviously figured this all out. They paid higher than minimum wage, had high standards for their workers and food, and eventually the money came right back to them. I know for a fact that myself and other employees bought the exact food we were making, and that with the money we made and spent, both ourselves and the company benefitted. Increasing the minimum wage, in my experienced opinion, is a win-win.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/10/08/this-book-will-stop-you-watching-football.html A majority of football players in the NFL joined the league without any knowledge of the long term damage that the concussions that they were only bound to obtain would cause them. With all the concussions that are occurring at Tam (Myself, Liam S, Allie H, Weston, other football players, ect), is this issue of uninformed athletes receiving long-term injures occurring at Tam as well? Also, what possible solutions are there to benefit NFL and Tam athletes to avoid this problem?

I saw this same topic on the Daily Show and it's definitely the first time I've heard of an elected official doing something this extraordinary as well. In my personal opinion he should have stepped down immediately, or just not have ever been elected, and admitting he did something wrong in no way demonstrates he's changed for the better.

Although there might be some benefits to electronics at younger ages, it will most likely result in issues in the future. For example, if an IPhone were used to calm down a child when it becomes upset, in the future the kid could associate electronics as things that put them at ease, and electronics could become addictive. In addition, continuing on this example, when the child is separated from his/ her device, then they are would more likely become stressed out and have issues with paying attention.
Also, continuous use of electronics, especially at earlier ages, has been proved to both increase peoples' ability to multitask, but it has also caused people to multitask more often. This, again, leads to issues with paying attention (ADD), and leads to students who use electronics more often, or more often at younger ages, to procrastinate more often and for longer periods of time.
