I think think this article brings up a very important topic here at high school as kids are transitioning from childhood and adulthood. However, personally I think this is slightly over exaggerated because I hardly ever notice it at Tam and I think there are more controversial bathroom subjects such as a middle male/female bathroom. Statistically, there are some students at Tam that don't qualify themselves as a boy girl man or women but yet they are still forced to decide when they go to the bathroom everyday is a very interesting topic. Good article though.

I think this is a very debatable resolution for our drought here in Marin. Taking water from Phoenix lake will effect many people and it's scary that we have reached a level where we are so in need that lakes are in danger. I believe that because the drought is looking so poor, we need to have another fallback plan if this drought gets even more serious. Good article.

Last Sunday LB Ahmad Brooks hit and tackled QB Drew Brees and was immediantly charged with a penalty revealing a personal foul because Brooks has hit Brees to high. The rule is that anything neck and above is a penalty, however, Brooks has no contact to either of those two locations. Ray Lewis (former LB) has offered to pay half of Ahmad Brooks' fine (16,000) because he disagrees with the call. How do you think this influences football in the future? Has the NFL taken this too far to protect QB's? Should this rule be changed before it could have a season impact for a team?

I think I speak for many people when I say that the Boston bombings inspired this World Series champions to have the success they had. However, I don't think that this will ever be something that is seen through or is unnoticed in the future. This was such a tragic event that effected such a large group of people that I think it will be remembered whenever the 2013 World Champs Red Sox are talked about. To answer the question, no, I don;t believe that Bostonians will ever be able to forget this tragic but I do think that the Red Sox winning helped th eoverall situation and makes it something special for the city of Boston.

I can't even believe we are talking about this because it is so awful. For me, I have family who was at the marathon and who were all effected and to see someone manipulate this and tease it is simply outrageous. That being said, i think online cyber bullying can take things to a whole new level which no one really deserves. I think this person should be punished but not by make it public so the person receives threats. They are sending an awful message with that costume and hope something like it doesn't happen again.

I thought that this article was very interesting and gave two very different perspectives on journalism. I think i find myself in between the controversy because i believe that every article written leaks a degree of bias and that we should try our best to not put an opinion into the writers mind and to let the writer think on their own. However, I think that if the journalist is not purposefully showing bias then he/she should not be accused because how hard it is to write an article without showing your bias. This article was very interesting because I am intrigued on how profesional writers believe the evolution of journalism has differed.
