I also joined the NASA Educators Online Network and I get emails from them about webcasts, and chat sessions as well as other events. I had a class come in the library last year and chat with an astronaut about what we were learning.

I am pretty sure this is the single best teaching website ever! It is basically youtube, but school oriented. A lot of people share videos, and even lesson plans and other documents on this website. Great resource, and it will only get better with time!

I haven't ever bought this program, but think it is a very interesting concept. When you look at "The Science" link at the top left of the home page, it brings up a section that talks about what a growth mindset school looks like. It matches a lot of our motivations. I always thought this would be interesting to try.

I like this webpage really for myself almost more than anyone else. It provides all sorts of interesting facts on the different states, and also helped my wife and I find a Dental School for her to apply to near our house. State information resource links to state homepage, symbols, flags, maps, constitutions, representitives, songs, birds, flowers, trees

This is a great resource to use when integrating subject matter into physical education. Classroom teachers can use these activities to reinforce instruction.

Again, another health site that gives decent information for students and parents about their kids health and issues they may be going through.

Starfall.com opened in September of 2002 as a free public service to teach children to read with phonics. Our systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice, is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, special education, homeschool, and English language development (ELD, ELL, ESL).

Pinterest is an online social pinboard or bulletin board where teachers can "pin" images or videos to their pinboard. This website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies, and more.

This is a great resource for storing all of you school files so that you can easily access them at home and over the summer. Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!

From engaging, standards-aligned rich media to interactive digital textbooks, our world-class content takes students beyond the classroom. This website has some amazing learning videos for the classroom! Sometimes the kids just need to be interested in learning, and this is the website for that.

This is actually a teacher's webpage. It has great ideas, resources, and activities. It is nice to share ideas and collaborate. This teacher also has a blog on scholastic.com. Great stuff!

Diversity and Complexity in the Classroom: Considerations of Race, Ethnicity, and Gender- This website gives information on how to identify stereotyping and biases within yourself, how to understand different races, ethnicities, and genders, and how to be able to teach while being considerate to others diversities.
