Since we've been discussing ways to close the achievement gap, I felt this website's article would really be useful. This articale discuss what the achievement gap is, how it is being handled on the federal level, along with strategies other states are doing in order to try to resolve this issue.

BrainPOP has cute animations with additional resources. There is a fee for a subscription, but there are also free movies available. This is aimed toward 3rd-5th grade students. www.brainpopjr.com is the website that is geared toward K-2nd grade students.
