▶ Being a Good Citizen Narration - YouTube - 0 views

  •
This is a YouTube video titled "Being a Good Citizen Narration". A book like this is one I would read to my students to teach them what being a good citizen means and ways they can be good citizens themselves (social studies standard 1.2.3).

This is also a daily lesson plan, but for five subject areas instead of just one! Because it has room for five subjects, it has less room for a more detailed plan for each subject area, though. This lesson plan template is a good one to use for outlining your day in general and for quick reference to throughout your day.

This video is visually stimulating for students with Austism. Other students will find this video educational as well. The variety in the video keeps kids interested. The video shares social stories, like how to wash your hands. The video also introduces letters and letter sounds. This video would be a good brain break video.

I really liked this website because it has blank lesson plans where you can create your own as well as different ones that you just download. This is a good website compared too DID model as well
  •
This weekly Lesson plan has the class hours set out for each day. While I would like a lesson plan that would allow me to go into greater detail about the subject matter and objectives of each lesson, it is important to have an overview and well timed out lesson plan for each day.

Froggie Counting Game - 0 views

  •
Froggie wants to get home, but there are so many lily pads and flowers on the way! Here's a simple game you and your kindergarten child can make together to teach counting and the number line, while having a good time, too! This activity would coincide with the standard: K.NS.1: Count to at least 100 by ones and tens and count on by one from any number

On this page, you'll learn how to get students passionate about social studies even when you have limited time, resources, or background information.
