Worldmapper is a collection of world maps called cartograms, where territories are re-sized on each map according to the subject of interest.

Check this out - some great whiteboard tools. I particularly like the traffic light and timer.

Thinking about FABLab: "So, rather than just putting kids in front of some craft supplies and a laser cutter in a "maker space," and telling them to go at it, you're advocating a much more specific approach of what you call the four P's: Students making projects, around their passions, collaborating with peers, and maintaining a playful attitude. A helpful lens to look at global citizenship.

JJ and Ben participated in a webinar by this group and found it "brief but helpful."

I will add to our Symbaloo page - looks like a good resource for student research.

This might be a good teaching aid for anyone teaching geography. It allows you to pick out a country and drag it over a flat map and it helps people visualize how the globe gets skewed when drawn as a flat map.
