I am beginning to think about next year and choice related to math. I noted examples given, in the Responsive Classroom article, for adding choice to a math lesson. They suggested students have a choice of manipulatives and a choice of which problems to complete. Basic, I know, but reminders certainly help.
I, too, found the shares to be inspiring. I don't know exactly why but they seemed so much more do-able and relevant than technology shares from past years. I wished my students had created "Simple Minds" webs at the end of the Ancient China unit, but I am hoping they will do so at the end of the Civil War Heroes unit. I would also love to have my RLA group create an Animoto for a book read this year. The structure of TAC classes is giving me both ideas and confidence related to the iPad.
