On one hand, we have the ability to formulate a treatment plan based on evaluation and our clinical knowledge; however, treatments must be reimbursable. Therefore, we, as practitioners, are at the mercy of the payers. Basically, the author suggests that the onus is on OTs to seize what opportunities we can within the system in terms of patient care.
