This thesis paper was an interesting result of my search for clinical reasoning resources. Although lengthy, this document identifies and defines different types of clinical reasoning that is used throughout various settings; narrative reasoning, procedural reasoning, interactive reasoning, conditional reasoning, and pragmatic reasoning. Clinical reasoning is absolutely essential when learning about clients and their deficits before you are able to plan for treatments/discharge.
