Is a question on the minds of all Batman's enemies and fans alike. But those were the infamous words of the Joker. Because comic book superhero Batman is human and doesn't have any mystic powers like Superman, Spiderman or Wonder Woman, he has to rely on his brains and all the little toys that Lucius Fox has created for him, that's according to the Dark Knight, prior to Batman Returns and The Dark Knight it was always Alfred who was the computer brains behind all his gadgets and toys. And since Bruce Wayne was strictly against firearms he has to come with other ways to protect himself.

One of comic book superhero Batman's arch nemesis The Joker first appeared in the 1940 comic Batman #1 but he didn't appear on tv until 1966 in the Adam West version of Batman. Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson were the co-creators of The Joker. However once again Bob Kane has a different story about The Joker's creations. The Joker was drawn to look like a photographer of Conrad Veidt as he was in The Man Who Laughs (1928) and the name came from the playing cards which Finger had brought in one day. The Joker has also gone by many other aliases, The Clown Prince of Crime, Red Hood, Jack, Joseph 'Joe' Kerr, Clem Rusty, Mr. Rekoj, Jack White. The Crazy Cat Lady is an icon in America. Is she an heiress who lost her fortune and has no job skills? A divorcee who didn't have a good lawyer? But the question remains...What do you buy someone who collects living things? Surely not another cat, but some tacky cat related gifts would be perfect!.

Ed Brubaker, the writer behind the 2001 revamp of the character, has stated that Selina's current costume was inspired by Emma Peel's iconic leather catsuit in The Avengers TV series. It has a more high tech look, with domino-shaped infrared goggles on her cowl.

Comic Books are basically a lot like the soap operas, they get a little far fetched at times and the Batman series isn't any different. Batgirl not only has gone through a lot of transformation with just her attire and in the movie but she's gone through actual character changes as well through out the years.
