Really useful diagrams and charts. I like the venn diagrams.

The floor plan diagram would be fun to use! Younger children would be able to talk about their homes this way, I would think.

Looks like a great tool to use on a smartboard.

I agree with using this on the whiteboard. Also, the graphic is simple and non-distracting, so kids who have a problem with visual perception would have an easier time with the visual organization using this tool.

Good option when you do not have access to a more robust graphic organizer program. The export option works with out registering with the site.

Lots of lesson plans organized by grade level using the various graphics.

A neat website that allows you to create unique rhythms and sounds from a drag and drop menu. Experiment with different sound loops, choruses, and instrumental sounds to create your own unique sound loops. Each time you add a new sound a new person appears in the screen. Click a person to delete the sound he represents.

I had a difficult time finding the educational value here, but I also had trouble navigating & getting the games to work:(

Good media place for lower grade students doing music reports.

This is a great site for elementary grade levels. Very educational with all kinds of interactive games, lessons about composers and the era they lived in, at home activities, and even a virtual tour of the symphony.

I could play on this site all day! Kids who are learning to use a mouse for press and release would enjoy the painting with pixels and making collages. It would be an appropriate activity for older kids who need to refine their motor skills.

This is great. There's even a link called, "What's up in Symphony?" with links for performance dates and tic purchases (but we'd have to go to SF to use it:)

A wonderful site to learn all about the instruments, composers, and musical composition. This would be a lot of fun to explore for kids who are beginning to learn to play an instrument.
