Love American Girl! The books are great! I don't think this website existed when I had my American Girl.

I used to get this magazine when it first came out, I loved it! They feature articles about strong women and promote positive role models. It is a great resource for girls!

Great magazine, glad to see they are going forward with the website area as well. One of our favorites when steph was younger

Weekly reader as only weekly reader can do it! Good to know they are thinking outside the box to the furture

I used to get the Weekly Reader in my 4th grade classroom. My students loved it! The teacher's guide was very helpful and the information was presented in clear way. This is a great way to incorporate Nonfiction literature into your classroom.

This site offers a teacher's guide and quizzes. It also has a link that brings you to state by state guides for related activities

This is the perfect "reward" for the good reader who always gets their work done and loves science and archeology!

I like the short biographies of important people.

couldn't get into the hot spots but the description page sounds interesting and has possibilities.

Good source for simple graphic organizers, especially if you want one to print out.

Oooh..this is such fun! It's a Beta version tool for creating interactive charts, maps, plots, diagrams, etc. Great visuals in 2D or 3D with thanks (by publisher) to the Google Chart Tools team. Your creation can be posted/shared, printed, emailed, etc.

Looks like a good way to show the students how to make charts, too.

Very much like webspiration but free! Does not appear as easy as webspiration but once you use it a while I am sure it will become easy to use.

You can collaborate, embed comments, websites, pdf. It's a pretty good tool. I would put this at the top of the list and would choose it before picking a lot of the others.

I like that in you mapping tools that you can add links and images.

This looked interesting but more complicated to me than the Gliffy

I watched the Creatly video - similar to Google docs....

Much more complex that what we usually see, but might be a good source for those budding computer engineers, etc. I liked how each area explained what the uses would be for that group of graphics.

This site has some very basic graphic organizers such as daily assignment recorders and outline planners for writing. It also has some more detailed items such as geography patterns that can be printed and used for cut & paste model-making (eg. prisms, hexagons). The 1st 5 items are free, but after that you're directed to a 7 day free trial or a subscription deal (now only $39.95/yr!)

There is a subscription but also a lot of free printables.

Hurray, forms I can type on. Look under "printables". Looks like you could use the graphics on a smartboard, too.

Love that you can try this for free so easily. Lots of times we need to try things with kids and see what works best before you buy it.

Great Tool. I think I like this one the best of the mind mapping tools. bolder colors and thicker lines, shapes.

Would help kids who keep using the same words and/or need help describing their ideas.
