This is an amazing website. There are engaging and interactive lessons and games for students of differing abilities. This would be a great site for my classroom of students with special needs who need some exposure to world geography but in a simplified and engaging manner.

That last comment by Abby was really from me...ooops!

Not only can this site be used as a whole class lesson but children can access independently with different skill levels.
  •
I also enjoy having the various games and the various levels. This would be great for students who finish their work and can practice various geographic skills!

The games help the student learn in multiple ways visually and auditorially. There are prompts to help the student along. I like it!

This site has some very basic graphic organizers such as daily assignment recorders and outline planners for writing. It also has some more detailed items such as geography patterns that can be printed and used for cut & paste model-making (eg. prisms, hexagons). The 1st 5 items are free, but after that you're directed to a 7 day free trial or a subscription deal (now only $39.95/yr!)
