This is a British site, but luckily we do speak the same language. I just had to check out what they call Whizzy things, these are web 2.0 tools you can use. Isn't it great that we can start collaborating with our teaching peers "across the pond"?

July 25, 2013 By: David Kapuler A "Flipped Classroom" is a classroom that uses class time to do activities/lessons (guided by the teacher) and "homework" time for guided instruction, usually through video. Basically, it turns a classroom upside down: the learning of a topic is done at home and then the applied practice or work is done at school.
Watch2gether is a neat site through which you can watch YouTube videos and host text chats about them at the same time. I've written about the service in the past, but it just got a facelift so I'd like to point it out again. It is really quite easy to use Watch2gether.

Infographics gained popularity in the mid-2000′s with the advent of sites like Digg and Reddit, and have quickly become one of the most popular methods to display researched data.
