A clearing house for a large selection of blogs, especially math related topics. There is a large variety of topics that seem to be updated continually.

This site gives us access to several different teaching and math blogs (obviously) It is useful to us for getting into the heads and thought processes of people that are successful in the job that we aspire to be in. These people have access and know of many resources open to us that we may not know of, and we can learn a lot from them.

This website has everything from teacher news to lesson plans. You can connect with teachers all over the country. Get advice, find out answers. All grade levels and all subjects! Great place to find lessons, or help!

This site is a great site for lesson plan access and other teaching resources. It is great for organizing and contacting teachers through mailrings, has job classifieds and other resources to aid us as teachers in our classroom.

OK.... now this may be useful if you are in an 8th or 9th grade class where many students have cell phones. The students can use their cell phones during a ppt presentation to vote on topics that are talked about and the results are shown on the ppt. Very neat huh?

This website is an interactive website for children to reinforce understanding and practice of math and other key subject areas. The operations are shown in the form of a brief video clip with real world examples. Students have the opportunity to take a brief quiz at the end of the video segment. A subscription is required but there is a free 3 day trial.
