This website lists word problems for children by grade level. Even if students understand the concepts you teach sometimes they do not understand it when it is written in a word problem. This website would be a great way to get a few extra word problems if you are stumped.

This page suggests some topics for students in grades 6, 7 and 8 who are planning to do a math project. This website would be a great jumping off point to figure out projects. There is not however enough information for a complete project, but worth taking a look at.

The main assignment of the platform is to establish and to maintain contact between a tutor and a student. The service gives the teachers both opportunity to represent their offer and number of functions supporting the education process and settlement. The platform offers also other helping functions such as lesson reminder, the notebook, chat with the possibility of saved session edition, the calendar, message system, grade system, the possibility of keeping a few profiles by the teachers or students.

OK.... now this may be useful if you are in an 8th or 9th grade class where many students have cell phones. The students can use their cell phones during a ppt presentation to vote on topics that are talked about and the results are shown on the ppt. Very neat huh?

You may have a WIKI for your course, a discussion group for bookclub, WIKI for grade level; each with their one group of people who really do not overlap.
